Gantry Design
The WALTER's robust gantry structure, characterized by its heavy-duty build and exceptional stiffness, transforms the digital drives' high dynamics into precise grinding outcomes with negligible vibrations.
Ball Screws
The tool grinding machine features three linear axes X, Y, Z equipped with ball screws, achieving a maximum traverse speed of 15 m/min.
4/8 Grinding Wheel Changer
Optionally available, this changer can hold up to 8 grinding wheel adapters, significantly increasing the grinding capacity of the HELITRONIC POWER 400.
Optional Motor Spindle
This powerful direct-drive motor spindle features a liquid cooling system and a spindle end, boasting a spindle power of 26 KW.
The robust belt-driven spindle
Featuring dual spindle ends, supports up to 3 electrodes or 6 grinding wheels, with a maximum diameter of 254 mm, and offers a peak power of 24 kW.
Laser Contour Check
The feature integrates an intelligent, non-contact measuring system directly into the tool grinding and eroding machine, enabling highly accurate measurement of various parameters on cylindrical tools.
