The S30 is designed for grinding medium-sized workpieces in small-scale and batch production.
It features center distances of 650mm (25.6") / 1000mm (40") and center heights of 125mm (4.9") / 175mm (6.9") / 225mm (8.8").
With a maximum weight capacity of 130kg (286lbs), it suits various industries producing medium-sized components.
This straightforward and affordable machine incorporates a proven hydraulic infeed system, offering ease of operation and quick resetting.
The Granitan® S103 machine bed serves as the foundation for assembling technologically advanced components, ensuring exceptional precision, performance, and reliability for many years to come.

Hardware/Software
Wheelhead configurations:
- Turret wheelhead with left, right grinding wheel, and optional internal grinding attachment. Manual swivel in 5° increments with Hirth coupling and limit stops at 0° and 180°.
- External wheelhead with left grinding wheel. Swiveling machine table 10° / 8.5°. Standard workhead with hydrodynamic bearing or optional workhead with roller bearing enables grinding between fixed centers and live spindle grinding. Tailstock with adjustable center pressure and fine adjustment for quick and easy cylindricity correction. Electrical enclosure permanently connected to the machine. Can be expanded for measuring systems and Sensitron.
- Granitan® S103 mineral casting machine base. Automatic grinding cycles with automatic cut-out:
- Rapid infeed.
- Grinding feed 1 and 2.
- Spark-out. Rapid retraction of the feed handwheel to the preset grinding allowance. Plunge grinding and traverse grinding with or without rapid infeed. External and internal grinding possible in one clamping. Wide range of accessories.
