The Core: The Spindle Drum
Our distinctive feature: the spindle drum
The compact spindle drum ensures maximum precision in every position thanks to the Hirth coupling.
The core consists of six fluid-cooled motor spindles integrated into the spindle drum. An infinitely adjustable speed range, high tractive force, compact design, low maintenance, and the latest synchronous drive technology set the INDEX CNC multi-spindle automatic lathe apart.
Independent Speeds
Optimal speeds can be programmed during machining, and they can still be adjusted even during tool engagement for each spindle position and cutting edge.
This results in optimized chip removal, exceptional surface quality, shorter production times per piece, and extended tool life.
You can also machine high-strength materials that were previously hardly suitable for multi-spindle machines.
Speed changes can be made during drum indexing, eliminating the need for any additional secondary times.
iXpanel i4.0ready included
The iXpanel operating concept provides access to networked production. With iXpanel, your staff always has all relevant information for efficient production. iXpanel is already included in the standard and can be individually extended. You can use iXpanel as you want it for your business organization – that’s Industry 4.0 tailored to your needs.
